This research paper examines the interaction between India’s comprehensive legislation and environmental laws. Try it now, focus on the environmental impact of energy production and the need for sustainable development. It reviews the current environmental legislation in India including the Air Act, Water Act, Environmental Protection Act and Forest Act as well as the Energy Act 2003 which lays out the risks of competition, business and opportunity. This study discusses the importance of renewable energy and the overlap between energy law and environmental law, draws attention to the need for legislation, and proposes amendments and recommendations for legislation in line with company objectives. It also explores sustainable development concepts, including conservation and pollution pay standards and other laws. This article examines various renewable energy sources such as solar, biogas and hydropower, discussing their social, operational and legal aspects.It underlines the urgency of transitioning to greener energy sources and moving away from gas use. The research paper ends by emphasizing the importance of the integration of energy law and environmental law to ensure the future success and achievement of national and international goals.
