LEGAL ARTICLE ON ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN CRIMINAL LAW

INTRODUCTION

Artificial intelligence is an innovation of mortal beings which aims to develop a ministry simulation of mortal intelligence process by machines, especially computer system. Specific counteraccusations of AI include complete system, hard wired language processing, speech recognition and machine vision. while felonious law is body of laws which apply to culprits with extreme care and counteraccusations of mortal mind. AI and its recrimination in felonious law is new conception and a step towards motorized justice system.

EMERGENCE OF AI IN INDIAN JUDICIARY

AI came into effect in Indian bar during the time of epidemic of covid- 19 this epidemic is responsible for the starting virtual hail of cases and disagreement resolution.   In time 2023, the apex court disposed of 52,191 cases compared to 49,191 cases registered during the same period with the help of e- court system. AI AND THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM: THE ETHICAL IMPICATIONS OF USING AI IN THE COURTROOM

Although, AI can break the issue of pendency of cases in India but it can’t make a logic capacity like a mortal brain which is veritably essential part of justice delivery system especially in felonious cases for some extent it’s too important helpful in civil cases and cases related to levies. The case highlights the significance of counsel duly reviewing forms with the court and raises enterprises over the ethical counter accusations of word AI use in this way.

AI AND FACIAL RECOGNITION: THE POTENTIAL FOR ABUSE AND DISCRIMINATION

AI can play a big part in precluding crime as it can prognosticate the unborn crime and by that vaticination large quantum of crimes and be averted and also around millions of culprits data can be stored in AI which surely helps in felonious profiling. still, The tools themselves, still present a problem The data being used to” educate” the software systems is bedded with bias, and only serves to support inequality.

AI AND CRIME PREVENTION

As stated above AI can prognosticate crime and also help in felonious profiling so, surely is going to be a stylish way for forestallment of crime. It isn’t possible for mortal being to prognosticate an unborn event but AI can make it possible through its use and perpetration.

It can help through different styles in crime forestallment some of them are as follows Prophetic Policing , Pattern Recognition , Facial Recognition , Sentiment Analysis , Crime Analysis and examinations.

CONCLUSIONS

Although, AI can’t use logic sense but it can be used in felonious law for forestallment of Unrestrained crime in this developing society. It also, helps in furnishing quick justice as it contains all applicable information and by one hunt it gives full details regarding any particular case through this precious time of court can be saved can be used for disposal of other cases. But, the same has numerous disadvantages also similar as data leak, so it need to be used with extreme care and caution.
