The healthcare world is changing fast as AI becomes a bigger part of how we care for patients and run hospitals. While AI brings exciting new ways to help people get better and make hospitals work smoother, it also brings up some tricky questions about rules and doing the right thing.
This article looks at how different places handle AI in healthcare. We’ll explore the rules that different countries and organizations have made. For example, Europe has created some important laws like GDPR and the AI Act that tell us how to use AI safely. India has also made new rules in 2023 with their DPDPA law. The World Health Organization has also stepped in to give advice on using AI in healthcare.
Some big concerns keep coming up: making sure patients agree to how their information is used, keeping their private details safe, being clear about how AI makes decisions, and finding the right balance between creating new technology and being careful with how we use it.
