About Mentor
Ms. Saral Arora is a practicing advocate at the Delhi High Court and the founding partner of Arora & Arora Advocates. With hands-on experience in litigation and a dynamic practice before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and district courts of Delhi, she consistently guides young professionals with clarity, discipline, and real courtroom insight. Her mentorship empowers students and budding lawyers to grow with confidence and excellence.
She strongly believes that drafting is not just a technical skill but the foundation of effective advocacy, where clarity, structure, facts, and law come together to build strong cases.
As the Course Mentor for this online drafting program, Ms. Arora will guide students through:

About the course
The Legal Drafting Course is a specially designed, practice-oriented program aimed at equipping law students, legal professionals, and aspiring advocates with essential drafting skills required in everyday legal practice. Covering a wide array of disciplines—from criminal and civil law to corporate, family, consumer law, and more—this course offers hands-on training in drafting real-world legal documents, applications, petitions, and agreements.
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge and clarity on legal language, structure, formatting, and strategy behind every document. With expert-curated modules and real-life templates, this course bridges the gap between theoretical legal education and the practical demands of the legal profession.
Course Modules
Criminal Law Drafting
Warrant cancellation, Criminal complaints, Bail (regular & anticipatory), Superdari,Private Complaint u/s 223 BNSS, Criminal appeals & revisions, Written arguments,Exemption applications, S.528 BNSS FIR quashing petitions and Discharge applications.
Emphasis on procedural foundations, jurisdiction, chronological facts, legal restraint, persuasive brevity.
Civil Law Drafting
Eviction petitions, Delay condonation, Preponement applications, Recovery suits, Execution petitions, Succession petitions, Injunction pleadings, Written statements,Counter-claims, Civil revisions and appeals.
Emphasis on cause of action building, limitation compliance, evidence pleading and structured para-wise replies.
NI Act Drafting
Drafting legal notice, complaints u/s 138 NI Act and replies/written statements. Emphasis on statutory timelines, presumption rebuttal drafting, annexure alignment and compliance checklists.
CONVEYANCING
Drafting of Gift Deeds, Wills, Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Promissory Notes,Partnership Deeds, Copyright Deeds, Powers of Attorney and Affidavits. Emphasis on recital drafting, registration requirements, risk clauses and stamp duty awareness.
Family Law
Drafting of contested divorces and mutual consent divorces, Section 125 maintenance petitions, Domestic Violence complaints, and guardianship/custody
petitions. Focus on incident chronology, income pleadings, child welfare principles and restraint in emotional narration.
Corporate & Commercial Drafting
Drafting of Partnership agreements, JV agreements, service contracts, Articles of Incorporation, board resolutions, employment agreements, M&A; documents, leave & license agreements, franchise agreements and share purchase agreements.
Emphasis on learning clause sequencing, indemnities, termination and risk allocation strategies.
Consumer Law
Drafting complaints u/s 35 of Consumer Protection Act and appellate pleadings before State and National Commissions. Emphasis on deficiency pleading and evidence referencing.
Legal Notices
Drafting of all civil and criminal legal notices including breach, recovery, IBC Sec 8, cheque bounce, arbitration invocation, workplace harassment, landlord eviction, IP
infringement, partition, defamation and nuisance notices. Emphasis on professional tone and cause relief structure.
Constitutional & Government Drafting
Show cause replies, statutory representations, RTI drafting, writ petitions u/s 32 & 226 and service- related representations. Emphasis on procedural language, violation pleading and avoidance of delay and following timeline.
Duration & Class Timings
The course begins on 20 December 2025 and will go on for 8 week, featuring engaging live classes held two times a week.

Timings: 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Evening Sessions)
